The Operations Engineering team is expanding to support Trackman’s Broadcast operations—both on-site and remotely—across the PGA TOUR, LIV, and DP World Tour in 2026 and beyond.

Ops Engineers apply engineering and mathematical principles, root-cause analysis, networking, programming, systems architecture, and sports domain understanding to support and enhance Trackman solutions end-to-end. As a team, we tackle highly complex issues, develop new tools and systems, and serve as key partners to Field Operations, Support, R&D, and Product. Our work is broad, evolving, and critical to Trackman’s global growth!
Job Responsibilities of an Ops. Engineer
- Travel 6-10 weeks a year to various PGA Tour, DPWT, and LIV events to provide highly technical engineering support to ensure our flawless Broadcast operations
- Apply independent judgment and engineering principles informed by your sports understanding to resolve a variety of hardware and software customer-related issues
- Own the optimization of existing alerting/monitoring solutions and implement new checks to improve system stability throughout our portfolio of products
- Develop a wide range of software tools to improve operations and support processes which may ultimately be productized by R&D
- Maintain the existing Ops. Engineering code base to patch bug fixes and add new functionality based on internal and external needs
- Oversee a network of 600+ Linux systems worldwide running micro-service Docker architecture
- Work closely with all of our Denmark-based data R&D groups and collaborate with US, European, and Asian-based counterparts in product development, ideation, and design
- Effectively deliver the appropriate solutions and support for Field Ops. and pre-sales situations
- Document and publish technical notes and articles to the Trackman Knowledge Base for internal and external stakeholders
- Other projects and tasks may be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company

- B.S. degree in an engineering field
- Solid understanding of one or more of the following topics to ensure highly accurate tracking data:
- Applied mathematics, digital signal processing, or systems engineering principles
- Experience with Python, Grafana, APIs, and Mongo DB to develop new Operations and Support focused tools while also maintaining/improving the existing Ops. Engineering code base
- Unparalleled dedication to positive customer experiences driven by empathy and a human-centered approach to support and operations
- Proven background in networking and Linux Operating Systems
- Comfortability with navigating and interpreting large and varying data sets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey highly complex technical information to both internal and external stakeholders in a clear and salient manner
- Experience in or an appreciation golf and/or baseball to aid in engineering investigations and data analysis
